There’s something in the air when spring arrives.

Maybe it’s the way the light shifts — golden and hopeful — or how the breeze carries the scent of soil and new blooms. Maybe it’s just the quiet thrill of opening a window after months of being tucked indoors.

Whatever it is, spring has a way of waking us up. And with that awakening often comes a longing to clear out the heaviness: physically, mentally, and emotionally.

If you’ve felt this yearning too, you’re not alone. This is the season for shedding layers and gently making space for the life you want to grow into.

So, with these changes in mind, I welcome you to the Spring Declutter Challenge — a slow, intentional invitation to refresh your space, your mind, and your energy.

Why Declutter in Spring?

Winter tends to be a season of accumulation. We retreat inward and layer up. By the time March or April rolls around, many of us are living among piles of what was once comforting, but now feels stale.

Spring invites the opposite energy – it asks us to open the windows and breathe again. Decluttering means creating room for the things that truly matter in our lives: more sunlight, more stillness, and more ease.

A (Gentle) Challenge

This isn’t a challenge built on pressure or perfection. You don’t need to toss everything you own or color-code your closet by the end of the weekend. Instead, this is meant to bring small, steady steps toward clarity.

Each day (or week — go at your pace), you’ll be invited to focus on one area of your home or life. As you reflect and let go, you might just discover that with each drawer emptied and each corner cleared, you feel a little lighter inside, too.

🌸 The 10-Day Spring Declutter Challenge

Each of these prompts is designed to be flexible. You can do them in order, space them out over the month, or take on a few all at once during a cozy Sunday reset.
